The Department of Computer Engineering was established in academic year 2000-2001 with an intake of 60 students.
The Computer Engineering department has well equipped laboratories includes computer systems with the latest configurations. All the laboratories are completely networked and are continuously upgraded to cater the need of students. The department also subscribes MSDN achieves.
The Department constitutes 5 Software Laboratories and 1 Hardware Laboratory which is equipped according to curriculum as prescribed by MSBTE.
Considering the Soft Skills requirements of the students, department emphasizes on Co-Curricular and Extra-Curricular Activities conducted at state levels. Department also organizes Regular Seminars and Guest Lectures for students to cater to the high growth of software industries to look after student’s welfare, department has arranged a mentoring session held once in week which focuses on student’s issues.

Program Outcomes (POs):
- Basic and Discipline specific knowledge: Apply knowledge of basic mathematics, sciences and engineering fundamentals and engineering specialization to solve the engineering problem.
- Problem Analysis: Identify and analyse well-defined engineering problems using codified standard methods
- Design/ development of solutions: Design solutions for well-defined technical problems and assist with the design of systems components or processes to meet specified needs.
- Engineering Tools, Experimentation and Testing: Apply modern engineering tools and appropriate technique to conduct standard tests and measurements.
- Engineering practices for society, sustainability and environment: Apply appropriate technology in context of society, sustainability, environment and ethical practices.
- Project Management: Use engineering management principles individually, as a team member or a leader to manage projects and effectively communicate about well-defined engineering activities.
- Life-long learning: Ability to analyse individual needs and engage in updating in the context of technological changes.
